Information you give us
When you use our contact form, you give us your name, email address, phone number, project type, and message. If you email, call, or message us on WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, we receive whatever you choose to share there.
We use this information only to reply to you, prepare quotes, and work with you on your project. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser.
- Google Analytics only turns on if you click Accept on our cookie notice.
- If you click Decline, we don't load Google Analytics at all.
- You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
We save your cookie choice in your own browser so we don't ask you on every page. You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com.
Other services on our site
- Video player: our project videos are hosted by Livid. A video only loads when you click play. Once it loads, Livid may collect basic information like your IP address and viewing activity under its own privacy policy.
- Fonts: our typefaces come from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to download them.
- Chat links: the WhatsApp and Messenger buttons open those apps. Anything you send there is handled under WhatsApp's and Meta's privacy policies.
- Hosting: like almost every website, our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
How long we keep information
We keep contact form messages and project emails for as long as we need them to work with you and keep normal business records. After that, we delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you. Email info@opticallegacy.com and we'll respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and we'll honor them.
People who appear in our videos
This website policy covers visitors to our site. If you appear in a video we produce, how your image and voice are used is covered by the release or agreement signed for that project. To ask about a video you appear in, email us.
Children
Our website is meant for adults and organizations planning video projects. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information, such as passwords or financial account numbers, through our contact form.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
